What is it?
Treating the tooth from the inside out.
Root canal treatment (RCT) removes infected or inflamed tissue from inside a tooth, cleans and seals the canal, and relieves the pain caused by infection — all while preserving your natural tooth.
Many cases are completed in a single sitting; more complex cases may need multiple visits. A crown is usually recommended afterwards to protect the weakened tooth, though it is not part of the root canal procedure itself.
Who needs it?
This treatment is right for you if —
- You have persistent tooth pain, sensitivity to hot/cold, or swelling around a tooth
- Your dentist has identified an infected or dying tooth nerve
- You want to save a badly decayed tooth instead of extracting it
What to expect
3 steps. Clear at every stage.
Diagnosis
We identify the source of pain/infection using clinical examination and X-rays.
Cleaning & Shaping
The infected pulp is removed and the canal is cleaned, shaped, and disinfected.
Filling & Crown
The canal is sealed, and a crown is usually placed to protect the treated tooth long-term.
